reflecting each other

reflections of her

I had lunch with one of my girlfriends last week.  It filled my soul to sit,  laugh, cry, eat and drink with someone  I love so much.  We told each other our dreams and our fears.  It was wonderful to be encouraged and to encourage.  As we sat there, I realized how important it was for us to reflect truth to each other.  Life beats us down. People say hurtful things and we tend to carry these painful untruths with us. We seem to believe horrible things about ourselves, before we believe the amazing.   Then, a good friend comes along and reminds us what is glorious in us.  They reflect the divine we sometimes struggle to see in ourselves.
I am so thankful that I have people in my life that hold their mirror up and allow me to see something beautiful in myself.  I am working hard at doing the same thing for them.

So glad you had time to see truth and reflect truth to someone dear. Glad you are in my life for the same reason.

I am sooooo missing days like that with my bestest girl, we are far away from each other and it's highly too complicated to jump on a plane just like that and have a coffee. which makes me sad, really.
it's so precious to have your best people near. and i know you appreciate it 🙂

Sounds like you have the best friends. And I think you should definitely go to this restaurant with the magical light again. Soon! I'm free any time….x
