While it has been so sad to experience both my grandmother’s passing in one year, it has been harder to watch both my parents lose their mothers. I had both my dad and my mom say to me, “I am an orphan.” How that must sting.
While out shooting this past weekend, I was addicted to these trees. I loved the view and wondered about theirs. It made me feel small.. in a very peaceful and protected way.
To all those who are hurting now or are broken hearted, may you feel peace and a covering today.

oh my, these are truly inspiring. I think of being covered by His feathers, standing under these big beautiful trees. Such a sweet metaphor!
Your words and photos go so perfectly together. This is so beautiful… Prayers to you and your family.
