I am so new to shooting film and feel like I have a long list of things to learn. One thing I really wanted to try was pushing film. Pushing film is when you “push” the ISO to a higher speed. For this roll of Ilford 400 ISO, I pushed it to 800 ISO. I love the grain and the contrast the push caused. Here are a few of my favorites from the roll.
The really cool typewriter street art is created by street artist, WRDSMTH. I am a huge fan of his work. You can follow him on twitter here and his tumblr here. If you want to see some of his work in up close and personal, you can find it in Hollywood in the Melrose area. He does give hints within his photographs and hashtags, so look closely. Happy hunting!
These are great! Love the contrast it can create.
i love your eye! these are so pretty
just really good stuff. Here. I get inspired when I look at your work, feel your passion. I loaded a roll of film in my dads Canon A-1 a year ago. I’m still not finished shooting. Plus I have no idea about the film, it was given to me at a garage sale, the same time I bought the enlarger for the dark room I have yet to set up. sigh. But I suppose the magic if having had pictures on a roll so long, is the great surprise when they are developed. You truly do inspire. It’s like I want to go home and finish that roll once and for all and see what the heck I put on there.
Oh, I just love these!!
