Does anyone else feel like the world has forgotten about each other? I suppose that inner lonely child can do that to people- she is so lonely and the thought of rejection one more time scares her so much that she pushes the whole world away.  Maybe, she even goes so far as to hate the world.  It is easier to hate an enemy than miss a friend, isn’t it?  I feel like the whole world has let their inner lonely child rule for too long.  We must fight for love. For understanding. For hope.  These are not things that come easily, but with determination and gumption. Only the brave and powerful love, understand, and hope in the middle of chaos and hate.

Prayer for Those Who Suffer

For those who suffer,
and those who cry this night,
give them repose, Lord;
a pause in their burdens.
Let there be minutes
where they experience peace,
not of man
but of angels.
Love them, Lord,
when others cannot.
Hold them, Lord,
when we fail with human arms.
Hear their prayers
and give them the ability to hear You back
in whatever language they best understand.
